Clothing, supervision and facility closures

A person without bowel control must use plastic pants or a swim diaper under the suit. Parents and guardians must supervise children at splash pads. Water wings or other flotation aids do not replace direct adult supervision.

The city can cancel programs. Maintenance, thunder, lightning or pool fouling can close a facility. A published recurring session is not a guarantee it operates during those conditions.

Private trainers, coaches or independent instructors cannot run private lessons in city aquatic facilities without renting the facility for that purpose. Ordinary public admission is not commercial teaching permission.
